La Luna del Sur is located in the municipality of Alfacar , at 1000 m above sea-level and on the southern slope of the Sierra de la Alfaguara , which is part of the National Park of Sierra de Huetor, with Alfacar being one of its access points. The most relevant distances are:

Leave the A-92 at the exit 249 ("Jun-Alfacar"). At the village's roundabout follow uphill direction "Fuente Grande" and after 2 km you'll be there.
